Situated in a 1,000 year-old olive grove, way up in the Pollença hills, this rustic farmhouse commands beautiful views towards the Puig de Maria, Pollença and Alcudia. This villa affords a tranquil and peaceful ambience. Approached off a winding single track lane, the arched covered front terrace has a characteristic polished stone dining table overlooking the kidney-shaped swimming pool with furnished sun terraces. The brick built BBQ is next to the original bread oven adjacent to the covered terrace. Upon entering is the spacious hall with an inner archway leading into the living/dining room with stone walls, a feature fireplace and Satellite TV. The pine fitted kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, electric oven, fridge/freezer, twin sink unit and a walk-in pantry. The doorway opens from the kitchen out to the poolside terraces for those ice-chilled drinks. From the living room a second inner archway leads into one double bedroom with an adjacent bath/shower room. Stairs lead up to the first floor and the rest of the sleeping accommodation which comprises of two double bedrooms and two pretty twin bedrooms all sharing a shower room. There is also a terrace –which boasts spectacular views and is an ideal place for relaxing. This house is comfortably furnished throughout in Mallorcan rustic style with many interesting crafts and features. The kidney shape gated swimming pool area can now be closed off for children. Villa Andreu is a charming and very traditional single storey villa just a few minutes away from the old town of Pollensa. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens with cherry trees, cypress and other Mediterranean plants. Set amongst a lawn area is the lovely swimming pool. The villa is simple and practical with stone walls, traditional furniture and terracotta floor tiles. In the lounge dining room there is a comfortable seating area with sofas, satellite TV, DVD and CD players. There is also a wood burning stove for cosy evenings on the cooler months.
